Wolves still crave first away win

Wolverhampton will have three track specialists on board when they visit Peterborough on Thursday night in search of their first away win.

David Howe, Niels Kristian Iversen and Ales Dryml are all former Panthers riders, and could give Wolves the edge.

"We need an away win desperately now, and the clock is ticking for some of our riders," said manager Peter Adams.

"At the moment it's obvious we aren't going to achieve anything with this team, which is disappointing."

A good result at Peterborough might make us feel a little differently, but it's going to be tough

Peterborough have Henning Bager back from a loan spell with the Birmingham Brummies, while Wolves look for better support for their star rider Freddie Lindgren.

"A good performance and a good result at Peterborough might make us feel a little differently, but it's going to be tough," Adams noted.

"Certain riders just aren't doing it."

Wolves have also announced that children under the age of 12 can attend the home meeting with Belle Vue on Monday 26 May free of charge, provided they are accompanied by an adult.
