Lindgren scored 16 points, but it was not enough to spare Wolves' blushes |
Wolverhampton boss Peter Adams is considering changes to his line-up after Ipswich condemned the Wolves to a third home Elite League loss on Monday. Wolves lead the Witches 16-8 after four heats before collapsing to a 48-43 defeat in front of their fans. "June is on the way and we will need to look at it very closely. It's obviously not working for us," Adams said. Only Freddie Lindgren produced his usual form, top scoring with 16 points. David Howe added seven. The meeting swung in heat five when both of Wolves' Danish riders, Niels Kristian Iversen and Nicolai Klindt, were excluded, handing the Witches a 5-0 victory. The visitors followed up with 5-1 margins in heats eight and nine inspired by Poland's Piotr Swiderski who led the Ipswich scoring with 12 points. A night of home mishaps continued when Ales Dryml was excluded from heat 10 for his part in a pile-up, and David Howe lost his chain in the next race.
