The King's Lynn Stars have been knocked out of the Premier League Knockout Cup for the first time since 2004.

Reading Racers ended their attempts at a fourth consecutive defence, restricting Lynn to a 55-38 win at The Norfolk Arena on Wednesday evening.

Lynn failed to overturn the first leg defecit of 25 points, despite the presence of guest rider Billy Janniro.

The Elite League star managed 10 points from four heats, while Stars captain Tomas Topinka top scored with 14.
