Peterborough Panthers owner Colin Horton has said he is certain his team will finish in the Elite League play-offs this year. Despite an unbeaten home record, Panthers have suffered a string of heavy away defeats and are seventh in the table with six points. "At the end of the season we'll be in the top four, without a doubt," Horton told BBC Radio Cambridgeshire. "Despite our away performances we have a good team and it will turn around." Panthers welcome fourth-placed Poole to the East of England Showground on Thursday evening as they look to continue their unbeaten home run. "We only need one or two away results and we're in with a shout as I can't see anyone beating us at home. | We have got a few things up our sleeve which will be highlighted very shortly Peterborough team manager Trevor Swales | "We'll be having a meeting with the lads to find out if there are any problems but we're not overly worried as we're not expected to win away from home," he added. "As long as we can get one or two through the whole season, I'll be happy with that." Horton said spirits remained high at Peterborough despite the big away defeats, but confirmed changes will be made. "It's not easy to get riders of a high calibre to come in but we have got a few things up our sleeve which will be highlighted very shortly." He added: "There is a good spirit in the team despite what people are saying. "Obviously when you're losing away the team spirit goes down a little bit because you're losing. "But we're not overly worried, we're disappointed to be getting beaten so heavily but it's something we're going to put right."
