The Coventry Bees captain Chris Harris has said he believes last Friday's victory over Elite League favourites Poole shows they are improving.

The defending champions pipped the Pirates 48-45 at Brandon for only their second league victory this season.

Harris, the current British champion, told BBC Coventry & Warwickshire: "The team's going in the right direction.

"Hopefully I've sorted out the misfire on the bike and I can start riding to the ability that I was last year."
