Witches target first league win

Speedway

Ipswich Witches will be aiming to end a run of four meetings without a victory when they go to Peterborough Panthers on Monday.

The Suffolk side are bottom of the Elite League with just one point from their three matches so far.

The Witches will again be without Jarek Hampel and Piotr Swiderski who are riding in their native Poland.

Poole's Chris Holder will cover for Hampel while Ipswich will use the rider replacement facility for Swiderski.

Peterborough - who have won both of their meetings so far - will include former Ipswich riders Hans Andersen and Danny King in their line-up.

Ipswich's last trip to the East of England Showground saw them beaten 47-43 in the Craven Shield.

Ipswich's next home meeting is against Eastbourne Eagles on Thursday.
