Howe could muster only seven points for Wolves at Poole |
Poole gained instant revenge over Wolves with a 62-31 win in Wednesday's Elite League meeting at Wimborne Road. Still without the injured Kenneth Hansen, the visitors started badly when Freddie Lindgren was overhauled in heat one by Bjarne Pedersen. Only new signing Niels-Kristian Iversen showed any real consistency with 13 points, David Howe adding seven. Pedersen top-scored for the Pirates who avenged Monday night's League defeat at Monmore Green. Chris Neath is due to link up with the Wolves squad for Thursday's Knockout Cup meeting at Ipswich to take over some of Hansen's rides. The Dane is back home to have surgery on the pelvic injury he suffered during Monday night's victory over the Pirates.
