Wolverhampton's Kenneth Hansen will miss the forthcoming trips to Poole Pirates and the Knockout Cup meeting at Ipswich because of injury. The Dane has returned home for treatment after suffering a cut to his waist and tyre burns to his hip in a crash in Monday's Elite League meeting. "He can't sit too comfortably at the moment so it's a case of wait and see," said promoter Chris Van Straaten. "He felt it was best to go back to Denmark for rest and treatment." Hansen is expected to be fit for the return meeting in the cup with Ipswich at Monmore Green next Monday. Van Straaten knows facing Poole for a second time in the space of a few days in the Elite League will be harder without Hansen in their ranks. "Poole will be tough," he added. "We beat them by a good margin at our place but it will be a different proposition down at Wimborne Road - especially without Kenneth. "But with three points available for an away win these days, we have to go there with a positive attitude."
