Harris was Coventry's vice-captain last year (Jeff Davies) |
Coventry Bees have confirmed their captain for the 2008 season will be British champion Chris Harris. Harris assumes the role after former skipper Scott Nicholls departed the treble-winning Bees.
"I'm looking forward to being captain, it's a position of more responsibility and you have to lead the team and be in charge of them," Harris said.
Bees begin their season with a couple of challenge matches against Sheffield later this week.
