Politicians hear Oxford's plight
Save Oxford Speedway representative Chris Brown has been given the opportunity to address a full meeting of Oxford City Council.

The group is trying to keep the sport alive in the city after promoter Allen Trump quit after failing to agree a rent deal with stadium landlords GRA.

Brown was given five minutes to inform the council of Oxford's plight.

His aim was to tell the council what assistance is needed to help maintain the sport at Cowley.
