Former world champion Hayden finished 13th last season |
Ducati have confirmed Nicky Hayden will be fit to take part in the next MotoGP pre-season test at the end of February despite undergoing arm surgery. The 28-year-old American had an operation on his right arm after the first test of the year to remove scar tissue from a previous procedure. Hayden was treated for an ongoing arm-pump problem, a common physical problem among motorbike riders. He has already returned to America for recuperation before the next test. Former world champion Hayden said he was "satisfied but could be happier" after the first test of the season at Sepang, where he recorded the eighth-fastest time. | 606: DEBATE |
The 2010 MotoGP season starts in Qatar on Sunday 11 April, with Hayden keen to improve on his 13th-place finish in last year's championship.
