Schlein was leading the field before he crashed on the third lap |
Coventry Bees' Rory Schlein is set to spend a lengthy spell on the sidelines after breaking his collarbone racing at Brandon last week. The Australian crashed into a fence during heat four of the meeting against Ipswich on Friday. As well sustaining the injury to his clavicle, Schlein also broke his wrist and damaged his knee. The Bees rider may also have caused nerve loss in a finger. Coventry won the Elite League meeting 46-44.
