Michael Dunlop will ride for a Norton bike at the Isle of Man TT |
Michael Dunlop will ride for famous British manufacturer Norton in the 2009 TT Races in the Isle of Man. Norton will be competing on the island for the first time in 16 years after returning to the United Kingdon from the United States. The 21-year-old son of the late Robert Dunlop will ride a Norton NRV588. "It is a fantastic opportunity for me to make history and it means a lot as I will be following in my father's biketracks," said Dunlop. "He finished third on his JPS Norton when competing in 1992." The Norton race bike has been developed over the last year by Brian Crighton.
