Seven Jersey motorcycle riders will be racing in France this weekend.

The group compete at Croix en Ternois, a few miles south of Calais, in an event organised by the British Motorcycle Racing Club.

Rob Currie, Nick Daghorn, Gary Hotton and father and son pairing of Luke and Steve de la Cour will all race in the Powerbikes class.

Luke de la Cour is the favourite of the Jersey riders having raced at the French circuit before.

Chris Hamelin and Tom Vautier will be tackling the Rookie 600 class.

It has been two months since the group last raced at Snetterton in Norfolk.

"It will be great to be racing again after such a long break, I feel like I've been experiencing withdrawal symptoms," Currie said.
