 Guy Martin showed impressive form in Thursday's TT practice |
Guy Martin again topped Superbike practice at the Isle of Man TT on Thursday as the riders were able to have a full session in good conditions. Martin's average lap speed of 127.08mph was faster than his leading time on Monday evening and left him ahead of John McGuinness and Ryan Farquhar. Martin also topped the Superstock practice ahead of Suzuki rider Dan Stewart and Adrian Archibald. Bruce Anstey was fastest in the Supersport class ahead of Farquhar. Steve Plater was third quickest of the Supersport riders with Keith Amor in fourth. Practice continues on Friday evening with the TT Superbike race the first race on the programme on Saturday. Two Supersport events, a Superstock race, the Senior TT and a brace of sidecar races complete proceedings on the Mountain Course. A 250cc race and a 125cc class will be held on the 4.25-mile Southern 100 Billown course at Castletown and carry full TT status.
