Bradley Smith kept up his impressive momentum so far this season as he clinched second place on the grid for Sunday's French 125cc Grand Prix. Smith clocked the best time of the session, one minute 43.614 seconds, but had to settle for second place behind Sergio Gadea, who was faster on Friday. Fellow Briton Scott Redding was fastest, with Danny Webb in 15th spot. Webb's display was all the more impressive as he injured his leg, back and left hand in a crash on Friday.
