McGuinness to ride at Sunflower

McGuinness has won 13 TT races on the Isle of Man

Morecambe's John McGuinness is set to compete in the 600 and 250cc classes at the Sunflower Trophy races at Bishopscourt on Sunday 21 October.

The Isle of Man TT lap record holder will ride for the Padgett's Honda team at the annual short circuit event.

Paul Bird has indicated that his Stobart Honda team will not be on the grid this time and Jonathan Rea will not defend the title he won last year.

Michael Laverty and the Relentless TAS Suzuki outfit are set to race however.
