Jonathan Rea could only manage a fourth place finish in Sunday's British Superbike Championship at Thruxton. The Ballyclare rider was forced out early in the first race but managed to collect 13 points in the second.
Marty Nutt was 23rd and 20th while Michael Laverty had a second straight win in the supersport class with Ian Lowry retiring after five laps.
BJ Toal also had a second win in the R6 Cup with Adrian Coates seventh in the superstocks and John Laverty eighth.
Ryan Rainey finished 23rd in the superstock race but Denver Robb went out after 20 laps.
Gregorio Lavilla won both superbike races to maintain his 100% record after two rounds.
Rea, who had two podium place finishes in Monday's opener at Brands Hatch, has slipped to joint third in the championship standings on 49 points.
