Oxfordshire 15-year-old Bradley Smith has been named the rookie of the year in MotoGP's 125cc category for his performances in his debut season. A 12th-place finish in the final race of the season in Valencia meant the Repsol Honda rider ended the season 19th in the standings. "It was superb ending to the season in which I have been delighted with my progress," said Smith. "I'm very grateful for all the support. It's been the chance of a lifetime."
