Archibald heading NI TT challenge
Adrian Archibald
Adrian Archibald is back in TAS Suzuki colours
Adrian Archibald is expected to lead the Northern Ireland challenge at this year's Isle of Man TT, practice for which begins on Saturday 27 May.

The three-times winner from Ballymoney has been reunited with the TAS Suzuki team after a poor North West 200.

Ryan Farquhar is injured but Guy Martin, John McGuinness, Bruce Anstey, Ian Lougher, Ian Hutchinson, Cameron Donald and Jason Griffiths all compete.

Martin Finnegan and Raymond Porter hope to build on good displays last year.

Finnegan rides for the Klaffi Honda outfit this year while Porter is still in the JD's Racing stable.

John Burrows, Davy Morgan, Victor Gilmore and William Dunlop are among the other top Irish riders.

There is also a strong representation of Ulster-based teams in the paddock with CD Racing, Team Racing, Uel Duncan Racing, TAS Suzuki, JD's Racing, DMRR Honda and McAdoo Kawasaki all taking their place on the grid.

They are joined by British Superbike outfits HM Plant Honda and Stobart Honda and the Scottish-based AIM Yamaha.

Practising takes place on Saturday, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday evenings, Thursday afternoon and Friday evening, with the first race, the TT Superbike on Saturday 3 June.
