Irish contingent commence TT bid
Adrian Archibald
Adrian Archibald looks for another Isle of Man TT win
A strong contingent of Northern Ireland riders will begin practice for the Isle of Man TT Races on Saturday evening.

Three-time winner Adrian Archibald rides for TAS Suzuki while Ryan Farquhar, who scored his maiden win last year, is aboard Kawasaki machines.

Darran Lindsay returns to the races for the first time since 2000 with Uel Duncan Racing and Richard Britton will look for his first TT win on Hondas.

North West 200 and Manx Grand Prix winner Davy Morgan also competes.

Martin Finnegan and Raymond Porter will lead the challenge of the Republic of Ireland riders.

Finnegan had little luck at last year's event but has the impressive Vitrans Honda machinery at his disposal this time around.

Porter scored a surprise win on the JD's 600 Yamaha at the North West 200 and should be a strong contender on the Isle of Man too.

The Irish contingent will face strong opposition from last year's treble hero John McGuinness, Bruce Anstey, Ian Lougher and Jason Griffiths.
