Japan's Ryuichi Kiyonari kept up his 100% record in the British Superbike Championship with two more wins in the second round at Thruxton. The 22-year-old rider won the first race by almost 10 seconds after he moved from fifth spot to take the lead from Yamaha rider Sean Emmett.
Kiyonari faced a fight in the second race, but managed to hold off the charge from Ducati's Gregorio Lavilla.
Briton Jeremy McWilliams crashed in the first and came ninth in the second.
Kiyonarim said the injury to his left ankle after a crash in qualifying did not hinder him on the day.
"The races here were hard, my foot was not a problem really on the bike, but it is very painful when I walk," said Kiyonari.
