World champion Daniel Pedrosa left the 250cc class on a winning note as he won the Valencia Grand Prix, his final race before moving up to MotoGP next season. He won in 43 mins 33.395 secs, nearly half a second ahead of Honda team-mate Jorge Lorenzo, with Casey Stoner third.
Pedrosa, who was 125cc champion in 2003, made sure of a second straight 250cc title when he won the Australian Grand Prix in October.
Stoner came second in the championship, with Andrea Dovizioso in third place.
