Adrian Coates will race for the TAS team in the Superbike races |
Adrian Coates will compete in the Superbike class in the Sunflower Trophy meeting at Bishopscourt on 15 October. The Antrim rider will join Englishman Tom Sykes and Lisburn teenager Ian Lowry in the TAS Suzuki team.
Lowry gets his first TAS Suzuki call-up and will compete alongside Sykes in the 600 races.
Meanwhile, Ballymoney's Adrian Archibald will make his debut for the AIM Yamaha Racing team at Bishopscourt after his move from TAS Suzuki.
Archibald is likely to be on the R1 Yamaha machine which John McGuinness rode to an Isle of Man TT double in June.
Coates is in contention for the British Superstock title while Lowry, who is tipped for a permanent place with the TAS team next year, is involved in the R6 Cup championship.
Sykes won both 600 races in last year's Sunflower event and was second in the two Superbike races behind Michael Laverty.
The Bishopscourt meeting is the final round round of the Irish short circuit championship.
