Britton and Dunlop impress

John McGuinness posted an absolute lap record on Wednesday

Richard Britton was fastest in the Production 1000 and 400cc classes in Wednesday's Isle of Man TT practices.

He clocked 121.59in the Production and 109.98 in the 400 category and was also third in the Production 600 class.

Robert Dunlop topped in the 125cc times at 10-9.67 while Adrian Archibald was third quickest in the Formula One at a speed of 125.41mph.

John McGuinness posted 127.34mph in the Formula One, faster than the absolute record and bettered the Junior record.

The main racing starts on Saturday 5 June with a four-lap Formula One event, followed by a sidecar race.

The competition runs to Friday 11 June.
