Michael Laverty is eyeing a switch to superbikes after his superb Sunflower treble on Saturday. The 23-year-old Toomebridge rider, who has competed on 600 machines in recent years, had a dream debut on board a Monstermob Ducati on Bishopscourt.
Laverty's performance impressed Monstermob team boss Paul Baird and a place in the 2005 British Superbikes Championship in now a possibility.
"I wouldn't mind a tilt at the British Championships," said Laverty.
