Farquhar and Lindsay double up
 Dungannon rider Ryan Farquhar
Ryan Farquhar won two races at the Cookstown 100

Ryan Farquhar and Darren Lindsay picked up two victories apiece at the start of the road-racing season at the Cookstown 100.

However, Lindsay saw his day ruined when he came off during the senior event and broke his arm.

The 27-year-old Farquhar won the feature race of the day from Alex Donaldson.

The Dungannon rider doubled up when he also lifted the laurels in the senior race.

Lindsay had early won a thrilling Regal 600cc race ahead of Adrian Archibald, Farquhar and Richard Britton.

The Lisburn rider than went on to win the 125cc race ahead of Nigel Moore and Ian Lougher.

Lougher got revenge in the junior race when he took the honours when Lindsay dropped his machine midway through the race but was unhurt.
