Robert Dunlop's son William has been competing in short circuits |
Robert Dunlop's rivals in the 125 event at the Kennedy Group North West 200 meeting next month will include his 18-year-old son William.
The younger Dunlop has been gaining experience over the past year in short circuit meetings but he now will try his luck at the North West.
"There is no pressure on him," said Robert.
"I'll be telling him to have a safe and enjoyable race".
The line-up in the 125 event will also include last year's winner Ian Lougher plus Callum Ramsay, Chris Palmer, Paul Robinson and Darran Lindsay.
Lindsay, yet to record a win at the Coleraine Club meeting, led last year's 125 race before coming off his machine.
Other top riders confirmed for the North West meeting include Michael Rutter, David Jefferies, Richard Britton and Iain Duffus who won last year's Superbike event after a thrilling battle with Adrian Archibald.
Duffus was on a Yamaha last year but this season he is expected to ride a Suzuki.
Archibald will also be competing in the Coleraine Club meeting.
