F1 team review - Williams Nico Rosberg 2009 Season StatsLast updated: Thursday, 15 November 2012 12:33 UKBBC COMMENTATOR MARTIN BRUNDLE'S VIEW "This was an important season for Nico Rosberg, who has seen his career path overtaken by the likes of Lewis Hamilton and Sebastian Vettel. "But Rosberg, the son of Williams's 1982 champion Keke, has really impressed with this season. More than he impressed the Williams team it seems. "He has always been there even though he has not had the fastest car. "Williams and Rosberg flattered to deceive early in the season, often performing strongly in free practice sessions but failing to deliver on that potential in the race when it really matters. "But his race pace and consistency began to really pay off with a string of points finishes. I enjoy watching him drive."
