The layout of Hockenheim changed dramatically two years ago.
The new track dispenses with the long straights that had become the venue's signature.
The idea was to provide better racing, but the drivers had a mixed reaction to the changes.
They all agreed it was safer, but many preferred the long, flat-out blasts into the forest, if only because they made the venue unique.
