The first action of race day is at the Red Bull motorhome - known as the Energy Station. A party on Saturday night continues past midnight and socialite Paris Hilton joins the revellers
No partying for the drivers, though - they get to bed early for the most demanding race of the season, and Lewis Hamilton is hopeful of making progress from fifth on the grid after a disappointing qualifying session
He's only got eyes for one man has this Michael Schumacher fan but the German legend has not got much hope of matching Ayrton Senna's record of six wins on Sunday. He starts from seventh on the grid
And here's the man himself, doing his best not to look embarrassed by his choice of transport as he makes his way through the paddock on Sunday morning
Not to be outdone on the glamour front, FIA president Jean Todt has his actress wife Michelle Yeoh, star of Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, on hand for the highest-profile race of the year
The on-track action gets underway at Monte Carlo, and it's a dream start for Red Bull. Mark Webber pulls away cleanly from pole and Sebastian Vettel gets the jump on Renault's Robert Kubica to go second
There is early drama as Nico Hulkenberg smashes his Williams into the wall going through the famous Monaco tunnel. The impact scatters debris all over the track and the safety car comes out on the very first lap
Problems for Jenson Button as smoke billows from the back of his McLaren on lap three. It later transpires that the team left a bung in his car as he left the pits and it caused the engine to overheat
The problem ends Button's race and the 2009 Monaco Grand Prix winner trudges back to the pits. The overheating problems were probably not helped by being stuck behind the safety car
Ferrari's Fernando Alonso starts from the pit lane, but the quick-thinking Spaniard ducks in for his mandatory tyre change behind the safety car. Alonso then starts to work his way through the field
Meanwhile at the front, Webber is putting in a consummate driving display in the Red Bull to pull well clear of the chasing pack. The Australian won the last race in Barcelona and is on course for back-to-back wins
Webber's seemingly serene progress towards the chequered flag is stopped by the safety car after Williams's Rubens Barrichello crashes out on lap 31, there were four safety car periods in an eventful grand prix
It looks set to be another weekend to remember for Red Bull. A one-two in Monaco is what Formula 1 dreams are made of, and Webber and Vettel never really look like they won't achieve that dream
This weekend has not just been about Red Bull, Renault's Robert Kubica has been on it since the first practice session and the Polish speedster deeply deserves his podium place
Webber crosses the line for the fourth grand prix win of his career, and his second race victory in a week! The 25 points also take the Australian to the top of the drivers' championship standings
Webber celebrates in style by performing a back-flip somersault into the Red Bull Energy Station swimming pool
The look on Webber's face tells you everything you need to know about how much this victory means to him
Webber follows up his swimming pool exploits with a dip in the famous Monte Carlo harbour, and then a moment of quiet relaxation in his dressing room, what a weekend for the Australian
