Ferrari's Felipe Massa, who is out of contract in the summer, says he is unaffected by talk they could replace him with Robert Kubica. "I am happy to stay if they want me. I trust Ferrari and in the end I have no interest in what people are saying," said the Brazilian.

Massa has also voiced his belief that while there will be no major changes to his Ferrari F10 for this weekend's race in Monaco, he and and his team will be more competitive than in recent races. The Brazilian feels Bridgstone's super soft and medium tyres will allow him to improve on finishes of sixth, ninth and seventh in his last three races.

Renault's Robert Kubica says having to drive with full fuel tanks this year will make it even more challenging when trying to judge how to go through the tunnel at the Monaco Grand Prix.

McLaren have yet to work out what caused Lewis Hamilton's costly tyre rim failure in Sunday's Spanish Grand Prix but it is thought human error led to his tyre deflating on the penultimate lap.

Red Bull boss Christian Horner says a flexible approach to qualifying will be a key factor in Monaco this weekend, with the potential for problems caused by slow backmarkers on the circuit's narrow track.

McLaren team boss Martin Whitmarsh says he is unconcerned by the threat of a rain-interrupted Monaco Grand Prix because he says his drivers Jenson Button and Lewis Hamilton are good in all conditions. "Their performance relative to the awesome performance of Red Bull has been pretty good, so we fancy our chances," said Whitmarsh.

Tonio Liuzzi believes discomfort with the 2010 Bridgestone tyres has been part of the reason for his recent difficulties. The Force India driver took points finishes in the first three grands prix of the year, but qualified in the midfield in both China - where he then crashed on the first lap - and Spain.
