Button leads the drivers' championship by 14 points |
Jenson Button paid tribute to the backroom staff at Brawn GP's Northamptonshire headquarters following his latest Formula One victory. Button won the Spanish Grand Prix on Sunday to make it four race wins in five outings this season. "I do feel like I'm on top of the world at the moment," the drivers' championship leader told the BBC. "But I don't think the guys at Brackley get enough of a mention - so thank you very much." Button and his team-mate Rubens Barrichello made it a one-two for Brawn, who now lead the constructors' championship by 29.5 points in their debut F1 season. "The whole team has done a magnificent job," he said. "With this new package you can see we have a bit of an advantage. So I'm very proud of my team back at the factory." Button will be looking to make it five wins out of six when the teams move on to Monte Carlo for the Monaco Grand Prix in two weeks' time.
