Kolles wants a decision over his rivals' cars

Kolles claims both teams have broken the rules by buying both the chassis and engines from a third party.

He said: "We have a constructors' championship... which means you have to manufacture your car."

However, both Toro Rosso and Super Aguri say their cars are legal.

Super Aguri's 2007 model is a modification of last year's Honda, and Spyker want it clarified whether or not it is actually a different car.

They also think Toro Rosso broke the rules last season and this by running cars they had not designed themselves.

Article 6.3 of the Formula One technical regulations states "the constructor of an engine or rolling chassis is the person (including any corporate or unincorporated body) which owns the intellectual property rights to such engine or chassis.

"The make of an engine or chassis is the name attributed to it by its constructor.

"If the make of the chassis is not the same as that of the engine, the title will be awarded to the former which shall always precede the latter in the name of the car."

Spyker's and Toro Rosso's cars start Sunday's Australian Grand Prix at the back of the grid after failing to get past the first qualifying round.

Super Aguri's Takuma Sato and Anthony Davidson finished 10th and 11th.
