Super Aguri failed to score a point last season |
Super Aguri have postponed the launch of their new Formula One car until the Wednesday before the season-opening Australian Grand Prix. The launch was originally going to take place in Tokyo but will now occur on 14 March at Melbourne's Albert Park track.
"We are working relentlessly to prepare our 2007 challenger which will unfortunately not be available on 12 March as planned," the team said.
The team failed to score a point last year but winter testing has gone well.
Some of Super Aguri's rival teams have expressed concerns that the new car may contravene Formula One design rules.
But the Japanese team insist the car, to be driven by Takuma Sato and Anthony Davidson, will meet all regulations.
