Red Bull's Coulthard is struggling this season |
David Coulthard's 200th Formula One race fell flat when he finished the Spanish Grand Prix down in 14th place. The Scot, 35, started from 21st after crashing early in qualifying and stood little chance of scoring points.
"That was a long, lonely race. It was not a very good 200th grand prix," said the Red Bull Racing veteran.
"I had brake problems when driving to the grid and locked up three or four times. I wasn't able to attack the corners for the entire race."
Coulthard is suffering the worst run of results in his 13-season F1 career.
His landmark Barcelona race leaves him with just four points from the last 11 races.
