Team boss Frank Williams will retain overall control |
Williams have established a senior management group to allow owners Frank Williams and Patrick Head to concentrate on team strategy. The former constructors' champions have made a slow start to the current season, with 14 points from four races.
But Williams and Head will retain overall responsibility for key operating and financial decisions.
"We hope it will allow us to spend more of our time focused on ensuring we deliver key targets," Williams said.
The idea of the group is to give responsibility for various parts of the company to specific people, freeing up Williams and Head " to focus more of their time onthe key strategic issues and targets", the team said.
Meanwhile, engine partner BMW is expected to end its exclusive arrangement with the team next season.
The car giant is set to supply the Swiss-based Sauber team as well.
