Rosberg wants to follow in his father's footsteps |
Nico Rosberg, the son of former F1 world champion Keke, has been named as the Williams team's second test driver. The Finn has a drive in F1's new support series GP2 and will continue racing, but joins Williams to work with established tester Antonio Pizzonia.
Rosberg, whose father won the 1982 F1 crown with Williams, had already tested on two previous occasions for the team.
Williams have also tested with Nelson Piquet Jnr, the son of the three-time world champion Nelson Piquet.
