Kanaan handed BAR testing chance

Kanaan is excited by the prospect of F1 racing

Indy Racing League champion Tony Kanaan will do a test drive for BAR in their final session of the season in Jerez.

Kanaan, who drives for Honda-powered Andretti Green Racing, will join the test on 29 September.

BAR are part owned by Honda and the team's sporting director is Kanaan's compatriot Gil de Ferran.

"I feel honoured to have this chance," said Kanaan. "My relationship with Honda is quite long-standing and having this chance means a lot to me."
