BAR have signed long-term agreements with South African Alan van der Merwe and Brazilian Danilo Dirani as a part of a driver development programme. Van der Merwe, 25, was British F3 champion in 2003 and has tested for the team this year.
Dirani, 22, is competing in British F3 this year and has won two races.
BAR have already signed up young Britons Adam Carroll and James Rossiter, who both tested for BAR last week, as part of the same programme.
