1937: Michael Schumacher takes the chequered flag to claim Ferrari's 150th Grand Prix victory. David Coulthard is just two seconds behind him for McLaren and Schumacher's team-mate Rubens Barrichello is third.

1935: David Coulthard and Rubens Barrichello close to within four seconds of Michael Schumacher going into the final lap.

1934: David Coulthard has cut Michael Schumacher's lead to just over five seconds, but with only three laps to go, the Ferrari man still appears to have the race in the bag.

1933: Tenth-placed Jenson Button's Renault gives out and forces him to retire from the race.

1933: Ralf Schumacher is fighting to take sixth place from Jarno Trulli but the Renault driver is equally determined to hold him off.

1931: Rubens Barrichello comes back at David Coulthard as the second and third-placed cars hit traffic, closing the gap to 0.5 seconds.

1930: David Coulthard finds some respite from Rubens Barrichello's attentions and extends his lead to more than a second on lap 65.

1926: Michael Schumacher eases up to avoid a mistake in the closing stages but still has a 13.8-second cushion over David Coulthard with seven laps to race.

1924: Rubens Barrichello tries to power past David Coulthard as they lap Takuma Sato at the end of lap 60. But the McLaren driver brakes late and slams the door shut as both cars cut across the chicane going into the finishing straight.

1922: Rubens Barrichello is right up behind second-placed David Coulthard but passing opportunities are few and far between for the Ferrari driver.

1921: With Michael Schumacher now left out on his own in front, 19 seconds clear, the big battle is between David Coulthard and Rubens Barrichello for second.

1918: Smoke billows from the back of the Juan Pablo Montoya's car and he pulls onto the grass at the end of the home straight, ending his race on lap 57.

1917: David Coulthard gets ahead of Rubens Barrichello and into third as the Ferrari driver comes out of the pit lane.

1916: Rubens Barrichello comes in for his second pit-stop, leaving Michael Schumacher and Juan Pablo Montoya to fight out the closing stages.

1914: Michael Schumacher leads Rubens Barrichello by 1.3 seconds after 53 laps, although Barrichello is expected to make another fuel stop before the finish.

1912: Juan Pablo Montoya comes into the pits for more fuel. But an 8.2-second stop is not quick enough to prevent Michael Schumacher re-taking the lead and Rubens Barrichello moving up into second.

1911: Lap 50 sees Juan Pablo Montoya record the race's fastest lap. He is now more than 12 seconds clear of Michael Schumacher.

1910: Third-placed David Coulthard comes into the pits and a 9.2 second stop gets him back out behind Rubens Barrichello but in front of team-mate Kimi Raikkonen.

1908: Alan McNish's Toyota is marooned in the middle of the track at the exit of turn four, raising the possibility of the safety car returning to the track.

1907: Juan Pablo Montoya's lead over Michael Schumacher is up to more than 10.6 seconds on lap 48.

1906: Now second-placed Michael Schumacher is losing ground to Juan Pablo Montoya, having also been reeled in by Kimi Raikkonen before the Finn went into the pits.

1905: Third-placed Kimi Raikkonen comes into the pits for a 7.8 second stop.

1904: Ralf Schumacher is back in the pits for the fuel his crew failed to get on board at his original stop.

1902: Juan Pablo Montoya puts in his fastest lap of the race.

1902: Eddie Irvine follows Mika Salo in retiring the race, with flames pouring from the back of his Jaguar.

1900: Ralf Schumacher comes into the pits, but has difficulty refuelling and loses time.

1857: Juan Pablo Montoya completes lap 40 with a 3.9 second lead over Michael Schumacher.

1855: Michael Schumacher takes a long stop for fuel and emerges in second behind Juan Pablo Montoya with 31 laps remaining.

1855: Michael Schumacher comes into the pits with a 23.9sec lead over Juan Pablo Montoya.

1854: Leader Michael Schumacher puts in the race's fastest lap on his 37th circuit.

1853: Jensen Button pits for tyres and slips down the field to 17th position.

1851: Rubens Barrichello remains stuck in sixth at half-distance and is unable to make an impression on David Coulthard, who puts in his best lap of the race in front of him.

1849: Juan Pablo Montoya now picks up speed again and pulls away from Kimi Raikkonen. But he is still losing ground on Michael Schumacher and is almost 20 seconds adrift at the end of lap 33.

1847: Pedro de la Rosa is the race's third retirement as his Jaguar coasts to a halt.

1845: Michael Schumacher completes lap 30 with his advantage over Juan Pablo Montoya growing by more than a second with every circuit.

1844: Juan Pablo Montoya looks as if he may have a problem as Kimi Raikkonen closes up on him.

B>1842: Michael Schumacher piles on the pressure, extending his lead to 14 seconds over second-placed Juan Pablo Montoya, taking two seconds out of the Colombian on lap 28 alone.

1840: Rubens Barrichello comes into the pits with his lead at just over five seconds. His stop for fuel and tyres takes 10.6 seconds and he emerges in sixth, leaving Michael Schumacher out in front.

1839: Toyota's Mika Salo comes into the pits to refuel.

1838: Rubens Barrichello extends his lead to 4.5 seconds over Michael Schumacher as Kimi Raikkonen and Ralf Schumacher continue jousting for fourth.

1836: Rubens Barrichello is 3.6 seconds ahead of Michael Schumacher on lap 22 - not as much as he hoped as his first scheduled pit-stop approaches.

1832: Juan Pablo Montoya pulls away from Kimi Raikkonen and sets about trying to close the seven-second gap to race leader Rubens Barrichello.

1830: Juan Pablo Montoya leaps from fifth to third in one move, slipping past Ralf Schumacher and Kimi Raikkonen in the pit straight after the German misjudged his braking at the end of lap 18.

1829: After two visits to the pits for attention to a rear wheel, Enrique Bernoldi retires in the Arrows, cruising into his pit-lane garage.

1828: The safety car pulls off the track and the two Ferraris jump away from McLaren's Kimi Raikkonen in third.

1828: The yellow flag is still out as the field cruises through the end of the 16th lap.

1823: The cars slow down and bunch up behind the safety car as Jacques Villeneuve's stricken car is moved from the entrance of the final straight. The 1-2-3 is Rubens Barrichello, Michael Schumacher, Kimi Raikkonen.

1822: Juan Pablo Montoya goes into the pits for refuelling as the safety car comes out. His move drops him to fifth after 14 laps.

1820: The safety car is standing by as marshalls consider moving Jacques Villeneuve's abandoned BAR from the circuit.

1818: Kimi Raikkonen is having a hard job holding off Ralf Schumacher as they battle for fourth place.

1816: Home favourite Jacques Villeneuve is the first man out of the race as his BAR coasts to a halt on the final straight in lap 10.

1814: After eight laps, Rubens Barrichello, seemingly carrying a lighter fuel load as part of a two-stop strategy, has extended his lead to more than three seconds over Juan Pablo Montoya.

1812: Michael Schumacher is losing 0.75 secs a lap on the leading pair.

1811: Mika Salo, having started 18th on the grid, moves past Jacques Villeneuve to go 11th on lap five.

1810: Rubens Barrichello stretches his lead over Juan Pablo Montoya to almost 1.5 seconds on lap five.

1809: Race leader Rubens Barrichello produces the fastest lap of the race on his fourth circuit.

1806: Rubens Barrichello builds his lead to almost a second on lap two. Juan Pablo Montoya is 1.7 seconds clear of Michael Schumacher.

1805: Rubens Barrichello flies past Juan Pablo Montoya at the start of the second lap.

1803: Juan Pablo Montoya makes a superb start and darts across the front of Michael Schumacher to be first to the crucial first corner. Rubens Barrichello also beats Schumacher to the first corner in what looks like a planned Ferrari strategy.
