Coventry Bees rider Josh Auty out of British Final

Josh Auty (Jeff Davies)
Monday's meeting would have been Auty's debut in the British Final

The Coventry Bees rider Josh Auty is out of Monday's British Final at Wolverhampton after breaking his ankle racing over the weekend.

Auty was injured competing at the World Under-21 semi-final in Slovakia.

It means captain Eddie Kennett is the only Coventry rider in contention of becoming Britain's number one.

There are plenty of former Bees riders in the 16-strong field including ex-skippers Chris Harris and Scott Nicholls, Ben Barker and Olli Allen
