Lyon took over the Great Britain team in February 2009 |
Rob Lyon has left his role as Great Britain team manager by amicable agreement after two years in charge. The King's Lynn Stars boss led GB to a surprise World Cup final last year, where they finished fourth out of four. But Lyon had previously expressed concerns over how the international team was set up. The British Speedway Promoters' Association, who are now actively looking for a replacement, thanked Lyon for his two years of service.
