Alastair Seeley celebrates his double success with son Lewis
Alastair Seeley became the first local Superbike winner at the North West 200 since 1997 when he won the feature race to complete a superb double.
The Carrickfergus man had a Supersport success before edging out Stuart Easton and John McGuinness in the big race.
McGuinness won the first Superbike race with Keith Amor the Superstock winner and Ian Hutchinson cruised to victory in the second Supersport race.
Ballymoney's Paul Robinson took a first North West win in the 125cc class.
Seeley, who also came third in the first Superbike race, was delighted after sealing the double for the Relentless TAS Suzuki team.
He said: "It's a brilliant job - Stuart Easton pushed me all the way and passed me at Metropole on the final lap but I hit back straight away to regain the lead.
"I tried to make a break for it during the race but it was too hard and I just held on to win.
"This win is not just for me but for all the TAS team."
The first Superbike race was reduced to four laps after a rain delay and Manxman Cummins set the early pace on his McAdoo Kawasaki before McGuinness came through to win.
"Conor made an excellent start and got away but my bike was awesomely quick," said Morecambe rider McGuinness.
It's amazing - it was nerve-racking but we got the win.
Paul Robinson
"I just tried to reel Conor in and from then I held on in the last two laps.
"It's definitely one of my best ever wins."
Both Superbike races were reduced to four laps because of two delays, the first due to rain on the track and then a medical incident on the circuit held up racing.
There was less than two seconds between the leading seven riders during the first Supersport race but Seeley worked through from eighth to edge home.
Seeley was followed by Ian Hutchinson, Michael Dunlop, Keith Amor and McGuinness.
Scotsman Amor held off Hutchinson on the final lap of the Superstock race while Ryan Farquhar completed the podium places with Seeley fourth.
It was a maiden North West win for both Amor and his BMW team.
William Dunlop was fancied to win the 125 race for a second straight year but he was forced to retire in the early stages while leading.
Robinson took over top spot and he stayed ahead of Jon Vincent and Renzo van der Donckt.
"It's amazing - it was nerve-racking but we got the win."
The Honda rider dedicated the win to his father Mervyn, who died after crashing at the meeting in 1980.
Englishman Hutchinson was never threatened in the second Supersport race and he was well clear of Amor and Bruce Anstey.
"I just got my head down, got a gap and kept pushing and pushing," said Hutchinson.
