Wolves begin their title defence in March

Wolverhampton Wolves boss Peter Adams has said the Coventry Bees will provide tough opposition ahead of the first of several matches between the teams.

The Midlands rivals meet in a Challenge match at Monmore Green on Monday 15 March, with the return four days later.

"I feel both teams are in for an interesting season, it wouldn't surprise me to see Coventry up there in the top four," said Adams.

"I'd say it was a good way for both teams to start."

Prior to the Bees' clash, Wolves will stage their traditional practice night on Tuesday, 9 March with admission by donation to charity.

Wolves will then begin the defence of their Elite League title at home to runners-up Swindon on Monday, 29 March.
