Heathens will host home meetings in Birmingham and Wolverhampton.

Dudley Heathens speedway team will kick off their maiden season against a USA Dream Team at Perry Barr on 7 April.

The meeting will mark the return of the famous Heathens name to British speedway after a 14-year absence.

Their first home fixture in the National League will be staged at Wolverhampton's Monmore Green track on Tuesday, 13 April.

The club also anticipate adding two more riders to their team this week to add to youngster Ashley Morris.

The new names will be announced at a public forum being staged at Cradley Heath Liberal Club this Thursday, 4 February (2000 GMT).
