Doncaster have signed centre-back Shelton Martis from West Brom.
The 27-year-old, who has signed a three-and-a-half-year deal, scored one goal in five games while on loan at the Keepmoat Stadium last season.
Injuries to Adam Lockwood and Jason Shackell mean the defender could go straight into Sean O'Driscoll's team for Saturday's game against Reading.
Martis began his career with Excelsior Rotterdam and has also played for PSV Eindhoven, Darlington and Hibernian.
The Dutch Antilles international joined West Brom from Hibs in 2007 but made only 25 appearances in two-and-a-half seasons at The Hawthorns.

Meanwhile, Doncaster midfielder Robbie Clark has joined non-league side Brigg Town on loan until the end of the season.
The midfielder is a product of the Championship club's youth system but has yet to make a first team.
The club have, however, rejected a bid from Preston for midfielder Martin Woods.
