Belle Vue chief David Gordon has criticised his team's approach after their 52-44 home defeat by Ipswich. It left the Aces bottom of the Elite League and facing a relegation play-off with the Premier League winners. Gordon said: "It is very, very disappointing. Ipswich came to Belle Vue with nothing to ride for while we had everything to ride for. "We just didn't perform like that and the roles were reversed because Ipswich really got stuck into the match."
