Jelley only managed to finish one race in his last outing at Oulton Park

Leicestershire driver Stephen Jelley had a frustrating time in the latest round of the British Touring Car Championship at Snetterton.

After finishing sixth and 13th in the first two races, Jelley was going well in the third until he became involved in a big shunt and crashed out.

Jelley told BBC Radio Leicester: "I'd just got into a good points-scoring position, but these things happen".

The next round of the Championship is at Knockhill on 16 August 2009.
