Colin Turkington lies second in the British Touring Car championship

Colin Turkington moved to within six points of British Touring Car championship leader Matt Neal with a win at Thruxton on Sunday.

Turkington produced a brilliant overtaking manoeuvre on the final lap of race to win from Fabrizio Giovanardi and Neal.

Giovanardi won the opening race in which Turkington was fourth.

Matt Jackson won the third and final race of the day with Turkington back in ninth.
